Expanding ingredient options

There are alternatives to the flour that is traditionally used in this recipe, and if this stands out to you there are certainly other options available. From personal experience, I choose to use toasted corn flour. Corn Flour is traditionally used in Ghana as well as other areas within Africa, but not to worry about sourcing this product as it can be easily found in larger cities such as shops in London. If you are however located in an area where this product can not be easily obtained, websites such as Amazon and Ghana Tom Brown are great resources. Corn Flour lasts up to 12 months so it would definitely be worth ordering,  also allowing the option to store leftovers for another batch.

If you really want to embrace your creativity why not try making your own toasted corn flour. The simple way to bake this is by covering cornflour over the tin foil and placing it in the oven. This is just a suggestion, if you want to stick to the easier solutions as advertised, I would suggest buying these products already pre-made. Corn flour is not the other option for toasted flour, however; rice, soya and almond toasted flour also make great alternatives.

Benefits to Peanut butter protein balls on your health

Peanut butter is a great way to ensure your intake of vitamin E. This is because it is a protein as well as an unsaturated butter. Almond butter does however in comparison have a higher content of vitamin E. When considering your peanut butter intake, it is important to note that there are 100 calories per tablespoon, so if you are on a restricted diet or simply aware of your calorie intake you should keep this in mind. Despite this it is a great alternative to chocolate and sweets, giving you that sugar rush but providing you with healthy fats, fiber, proteins, vitamins, and minerals, all great resources in weight loss and good health. A good way to use peanut butter to its advantage is prior to a work out as it is both light and its protein content is a great way to enhance muscle repair.

There is a great benefit to making your own protein balls as you are aware of the ingredients that are in this nutritious snack, allowing for the avoidance of any unnecessary bulking agents and preservatives within the contents allowing for a healthy snack.
